Leveling a Bathtub

One of the most important aspects of installing a new bathtub is making sure that the bathtub is level when installed. There are several different ways that can be used for leveling the bathtub and each can be used in slightly different circumstances.

Using a Compressed Air Paint Spray Gun

Laser guided Virtual Paint System designed to improve painters' technique and consistency. A compressed air sprayer is the best way to rapidly put down a flat, even coat of paint. The paint is mixed with compressed air, which atomizes your paint. Compressors, which are powered by either electricity or gasoline, take in air and compresses it in a cylinder, diaphragm or rotating blades, then expels it in the form of high pressure air.

There are compressors which deliver pressurized air directly to the spay gun, and other types which store it in a metal receiver tank which delivers air on an as needed basis. Either one can be used.

Using a Brick Trowel

A Brick Trowel, also know as a Mason’s Trowel, is used to apply mortar in working with bricks. It is a traditional tool available in many shapes and sizes. In the most common form, it consists of a flat steel blade, which is triangular in shape. The blade, from 6 to 12 inches long, angles back at the heel where it meets the shank. The angled shank is attached to a wooden handle.
