Cabinet Dimensions
Wolf recommends using cabinets that are three inches larger than the Cooktop. For example, with the 30” Wolf Electric Cooktop a cabinet of 33” is recommended. For the 36” framed Wolf Electric Cooktop a cabinet of 39” is recommended by the Company.
Ventilation
It is always important to have proper cooking ventilation in your home. Even if you are using a Cooktop it is necessary to have good ventilation. For the Wolf Electric Cooktop ranges the Company recommends the use of their ventilation hoods, downdraft systems and hood liners.
As long as the specifications are met for the particular model that you purchase you can use virtually any appropriate ventilation hood, downdraft system and hood liner that you prefer for your kitchen.
Electrical Requirements for Stove
It is suggested that the electrical supply components for the stove that will be placed beneath the Wolf Electric Cooktop range be set inside the right side cabinet to the stove unit. This is the recommendation for cabinets that are less than twenty-four inches in depth.
For cabinets that are more than twenty-four inches in depth, it is recommended to place the electrical supply components by behind the stove and range units.
